How have pianos helped us?♪ღ
To me, playing the piano, or any instrument, is a form of expression. It lets you do you what you want, with no limitations. It has helped many people with their confidence, such as Adolf von Henselt. He was terrified of the 'public,' and had a nervous break down, thought caused by stage fright. He later, became a court pianist in 1876, also ennobled "Court Pianist." Scientists have also proven that playing piano has helped children's behavioral and emotional maturation. Piano literally, "Builds Character." It also helps in hand- eye coordination. By looking at the music, and being able to play the the correct keys helps. It's been proven that if you are 'trained' at an instrument, your organization in attention skill, emotional control, and anxiety management are better than those who don't. It was also proven that it helps with memorization and attention. Piano and music in general, helps to relieve stress. it lets you relax and just think. It gives the feeling of well-being. Depending on the person, and what their personal preference is in genre and music, it will help them in different ways. Some people like to listen to music because it helps them focus, but others might see it as a distraction. You choose what you listen to, have fun, and just enjoy it. 😄
